Domus WREC-80 T1 Water Recovery Tank

The Domus WREC-80 T1 stores 80 litres in each of 1 tank, giving 80 litres of nominal recovery storage. The ECOTANK range reuses suitable wash/rinse water with compatible TOUCH II-controlled machines. Recovery storage is not a washing-capacity rating, and the correct tank size, wash phases and machine connection kit need to be agreed for the actual installation.

Construction and cleaning

High-density polyethylene tanks sit in a grey skinplate support structure. Rounded interiors, removable tanks and two water-level sensors per tank support cleaning and servicing. The source describes preset self-cleaning programmes through a TOUCH II-equipped washer. Connection-ready and hose kits are optional; the sheet’s references to ECOTANK XL kits do not by themselves establish which kit fits this WREC model.

Compatibility and connections

The feature page associates 80-litre tanks with 11–18 kg washers and 16 kg barriers, whereas the exact table lists 16 and 22 kg barriers. Confirm barrier compatibility and the correct kit with ILS. The table gives 3/4in water inlet/outlet, 21 mm breather and overflow/drain references and 230V single-phase supply. Its steam-exhaust label describes the breather shown in the drawing, rather than a steam-heating connection.

Installation and recovery planning

Net dimensions are 551 × 776 × 608 mm (width × depth × height), with 46 kg net weight before water. The drawing’s 722.6 mm tank depth differs from the 776 mm net-depth table; use the approved assembly layout. Allow for a filled tank load, anchoring, hoses, overflow route and access to remove and clean the tanks. Savings depend on the garments, wash programme and recovery process. Bring the exact washer/barrier models, current water use and available space to ILS.
