Overview
The Domus DHS-80C TOUCH II is a soft-mounted commercial high-spin washer with a 770-litre drum. Dry-load ratings are 85 kg at a 1:9 fill ratio and 77 kg at 1:10. Its 770-litre drum is deeper than the DHS-60C drum, and the cabinet depth is 1645 mm. The source gives different electric-heating and maximum-power ratings for the 400V and 230V versions; one power figure cannot describe both.
What this specification establishes
The programmable TOUCH II control has a 7-inch touchscreen. Eight dosing signals are standard and six additional signals are optional. The drum and vat are AISI 304 stainless steel; the standard outer cabinet is grey skinplate. The stated G-factor is 450, which describes extraction force rather than measured process savings.
Options and installation
Double drainage, automatic weighing and tilting are optional. The drawing includes separate tilting dimensions, so the stationary cabinet dimensions must not be treated as the complete operating envelope of a tilt configuration. Maximum electric-version power is 51 kW at 400V / 39 kW at 230V. The steam/hot-water version requires 15 kW electrical power in addition to its external heat source.
