Domus DTM2-18 XP 18.3kg Commercial Dryer

The Domus DTM2-18 XP is a two-pocket COMFORT stack dryer with M electronic push-button control. Capacity is 18.3 kg per pocket at 1:18 or 16.5 kg per pocket at 1:20, rather than a single combined column rating. Each 330-litre drum is 746 mm long, within a 1271 mm-deep column. Reduced 12 kW electric heating is an option to specify for both pockets. Plan the loading, unloading and drying needs of each pocket.

M control and ordered options

The M programmer controls temperature and time. The exact sheet lists reversing drum action, stainless steel drums and frequency inverters as standard. DOUBLE FLOW combines axial and radial airflow, with drawer lint filters and stainless mesh. Two M-programmer screens, double door glass ordered per column, CP KIT CENTRAL PAY STACK and the external service console are options. Standard stack filter mesh is 0.6 mm; 0.3 mm is optional. Confirm the exact control and payment equipment supplied.

Heating and ventilation

Electric heating is 18 kW per pocket, with 37.34 kW installed electrical power for the column. The cited 400V 3N electric configuration uses 63 A protection. Gas heating is 20.5 kW per pocket, with 1.34 kW installed electrical power for the column and a 3/4in gas inlet. Nominal airflow is 500 m³/h per pocket through a 200 mm exhaust. The electrical circuit depends on the actual supply and heating version; confirm exhaust routing, make-up air, utilities and final connection details with the site.

Plan both loading positions

Net dimensions are 785 × 1271 × 1994 mm (width × depth × height), with 314 kg net weight and 574 mm loading openings. Lower and upper loading openings begin 189/1164 mm above the floor. The net-height table states 1994 mm while drawing A states 1980 mm; resolve the installed height before confirming access. Published hourly figures use full 1:20 towel loads at 90°C and cannot establish universal site throughput.
